Vaccination and Worming Schedule
Our puppies are vaccinated at 4 weeks of age with Neopar or a brand name parvo vaccination that overrides maternal antibodies.
We give 5-way vaccinations at 6 weeks of age.
We give 7-way vacinations at 9 & 12 weeks of age.
Rabies is given at 16 weeks of age.
Annual vaccinations are given once a year from the age of 1 year up.
Our puppies are wormed starting at 10 days of age and wormed every 10 days thereafter until the age of 4 months.
After 4 months of age our puppies/dogs are wormed monthly.
We rotate wormers between Strongid T(Pyrantel Paomate), Ivomec (ivermectrin), Valbazen (albendazole) and Safeguard (Fenbendazole).
We use drontal if we visably see Tape worm segments.
Our puppies over the age of 12 weeks and all of our adult dogs are heartwormed monthly.
We have found this schedule of vaccinations and wormings to be very successfull in raising healthy puppies/dogs.
